Saqib ‘Lirik’ Zahid is an American streamer who also happens to be a Twitch partner. He has over 2.5 million followers on Twitch. Discord is the sponsor for Zahid for whose promotions he is paid.
Saqib was born in Germany on October 29, 1990 and grew up in Boston, Massachusetts.
Zahid began his streaming career with World of Warcraft, on Twitch in 2011. In 2017, he was placed in the 5th position for the most successful streamer. His earning at the time was over $200,000. In 2018, Zahid was recorded to have taken a week break out of stress.
Zahid is popular for hiding his face and not using a webcam while streaming his games. However, in 2013 he accidentally revealed his face through a webcam which caused a stir across the Internet. Since then Zahid has shared pictures on his Instagram profile, although he still remains strict about not revealing his face in the streams.
Zahid uploads streams six days in a week. His streams garner huge audiences. Zahid also streams newly released games thus welcoming new viewers as well.
Zahid has 669,733 followers on Twitter, 88,143 followers on Instagram and 258,000 subscribers on YouTube. Almost all of his videos on YouTube are taken from his Twitch livestream with an average of 20,000 to 30,000 views for every.
Zahid was nominated the “Twitch Streamer of the Year” award in the 9th annual Shorty Awards.
